I applied on Dec 7 and my documents were picked up on Dec 8. I know couple of people who received their PCC around Dec 24. That is making me tensed. But I should not be worried now because I emailed Consulate on Dec 31 and they told me they received the "CLEAR" certificate from India and will

But I should not be worried now because I emailed Consulate on Dec 31 and they told me they received the "CLEAR" certificate from India for my application and will be sent to me within 7-10 days.

my police verification is pending. so far no calls from local police station

how long does it take ?

My verification by local police was done on December 19th but there has been no update since then. In general it takes about 1-2 months.

I am sending all the documents to BLS Brampton tomorrow. I have a scheduled pickup by Purolator tomorrow morning. I could not obtain a Purolator envelope(due to lockdowns) but got a plain yellow one from UPS:

1) Did you paste the Purolator label yourself before pick up?
2) Did the Purolator guy come with a stickable label and all you had to do was have the documents packed inside the envelope?

A Plain yellow envelope will work.
1. we should paste the label on the envelope before pick up.
2. No they'll not come with a sticker or something you have to take printout of label sent by BLS and stick it on the envelope by a tape or gum. I also had this confusion so I kept it separate but the pickup guy was nice, he gave me a purolator envelope and attached the label on it with their tape.

Hey Guys I just received my PCC. I think the delay was only due to Xmas break but it seems the processing is pretty fast now

Does you PCC have your photo on it? Also, does the photo have to be taken within last 6 months?

Has anybody applied for PCC with T4 as address proof? I could include leasing agreement if that would help. Also do we need additional photo graph to submit in the package or just 1 that goes on the application form filled through the consulate website?

I don't think so if you don't provide your aadhar detail, it won't let you submit your application. The local police might ask your parents/guardian for your aadhar as an ID proof but you can always present your driving license or voter id for that purpose. Needs to be confirm though with someone who was in similar situation.

I submitted my application today without aadhaar card number or pan number since those fields weren't mandatory. It did let me submit the application.

Verification has been done on Dec 28 and after that no update. Still waiting
