Do you have any idea what does this status means -pcc needs to collect from regional post office .

when do I get that email? Mine is currently under process at CGI and also does the police verifications go to the local police station that we mentioned in the PCC application since I gave my parents a previous address and also the phone number is currently not in use. I am planning to send my family member to visit the police station but needs to know when is the right time to send them.
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I have received email that Police verification request has been sent to local police station. But my parents did not receive any call for verification yet . Its been more than one week.
Also No information is available on this link to track my PCC status. I tries but it says no record.What should I do ?

My status is showing "under review at Passport Seva Kendra.". Is this the initial status always? What would have been the previous status and what's next? Anyone checked before? I don't have any idea whether pcc is completed or not. Nobody called the phone number given nor visited the home address. Local police station is terrible. They don't even have any patience to listen to us and would hung up on your face. Called PSK helpline and that lady is saying "come in person". I kinda repeated 10 times that I am in Canada, not in local. Man !!! this is totally frustrating...

I applied for a PCC at BLS Brampton. My application was received on May 26th. Currently, I am on implied status while I am preparing my spousal sponsorship application. Yesterday, I received the following email from BLS.



I emailed the Indian Consulate seeking approval to process my PCC. Is there a better way to get approval from the consulate? Any input is appreciated. Cheers!

hello I had the same case . I had to email and call the consulate many times to get approval. It took two weeks to get approval from consulate.

You have to send someone to the local police station and get things done. There is no other way.

For status you have use lowercase letter like cat***. Most of the cases police would never call you or they may call when they are free. They have three weeks to do this verification, so you have to send someone to the police station to expedite the process

Current trend is, you have wait atleast 2-3 weeks before it shows on BLS site for tracking. then one more week sitting in Consulate. you are likely to receive passport admin email for police verification after 4~5 weeks from June 2. I am on the same boat too.

Hi All, I received ITA on 28 May, I have applied for Police Certificate and Medical, however my query is when I'm on IRCC > My Application > Forms (you can reach there as soon as you click Continue Application)
I cant see the section where it asks for PCC or Medical documents, where and when are these PCC and medical documents are to be submitted

Yes "under review at Passport Seva Kendra." is the initial status. Once police verification is completed, this will be changed to PCC printed or PCC collection from PSK. Please do not confuse with this status. Its just means all formalities from India has been completed and all information about you are recorded in the system for consulate to verify and accordingly issue PCC to you

Pcc application has been granted on 16 June 2020. Pcc application needs to be collected from regional passport office.
What does it mean?
