You cannot have two active profiles at the same time. You will have to decline the ITA first and than create new profile re enter the pool and get the Invitation again.

Is it so ? I’m not aware of that. Can you share any refs. about it?
But I heard people mentioning about having multiple applications.

My application was sent to BLS on April 28 and the status still shows as Processing at Consulate General. Any idea, how long it's going to be in that state for?

Yes, it’s been around 10 days.

Did they visit your home for police verification? or just called? May I know what details did they ask? My problem is, it was rental home address in pp we lived earlier.

I really do not understand what our consulate folks are doing in toronto. Are they all got a new job at toronto airport at checkin/ baggage counters for passengers boarding vande bharat mission flights? When they would learn to plan things in a better way and continue to improve themselves to make people's life easier.

For my wife verification police called my father in-law,I am still waiting for my verification


It all depends on the the police who is dealing with your verification. They mostly call to the number given in the application. You can contact your hose owner and apprise him about the verification also get help from someone who can talk to the the police to provide any documents like aadhar card and unofficial formalities if you are in urgency.


In an IDEAL situation we dont need do anything which i stated above

Some police did not call you..in my case my husband father didn't receive a call from police station but my father got call so my in law go to police station and ask about verification then they proceed.so inquiry your police station.

Best way is go to police station and inquiry about that if you get email of verification.

This is the most horrible and frustrating part.

True..I am waiting from last two week.mine verification completed from 2 weeks

I called to BLS today, they told me they are receiving pcc completion updates from consulate and they are in process of sending completed pcc to applicants. He asked to wait till end of next week. Not sure how much we can trust them.
