May 10: Walk-in application using their premium lounge service for hassle free service
May 23: Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate.
May 29: Police Verification Report is clear. PCC is available for issuance.
June 19: Police Clearance Certificate has been printed.
June 24: Received via Courier
How much time it took for print certificate to ship to BLS?

Jun 29: Status changed to "Police Verification Report is clear. PCC is available for issuance. "

I sent an email yesterday morning to pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in but yet to receive a reply.

Any other method to expedite the process?

Hi There

i have the same problem - i got married but my parents dont know about it. And i dont want them to know as well :

My passport doent have my spouse name and our marriage is not registered in India as well - we had got married out side India.

How did you proceed with PCC - can we just say single ? Does BLS check as well - my spouse is on open spouse work permit in canada.
Will it create any problem with PR process / PCC ?

Any idea if the police ask about marriage / spouse as well when PCC goes for verification.

How did you go about it. Can u please advise. - really stressed cos of this.
hi i am on same boat now, please share your experience. really appreciated

Hi everyone
Please help me,
I am married in Canada. And our parents don't know anything about our marriage.
Can i do pcc without mentioning my marital status?
Is there any impact on PR file?
What options, I have now?

Thank you

You have to mention your status in your file, it just depends on the police officer doing your PCC backhome, he might confirm from your parents while confirming details about you.

Has anyone recently applied for a PCC at BLS Toronto as a Canadian citizen? I submitted my application today and they kept my original Canadian passport. Is this normal?

They said processing time is 4-6 weeks. How long does it usually take? Can anyone share their recent timeline? Do they need someone to go to the local police station in India?

PCC status is stuck in "Police Verification Report is clear. PCC is available for issuance. " for the past 10 days. I have sent email to pcc.toronto but no response yet.
I could see that "PCC Clear" to "Police Clearance Certificate has been printed. " takes around 20 days.

Is there any other way to expedite the process?

There is no way, its a bullshit service

Hey, does "police verification clear. Pcc available for issuance" means local police station has sent the pcc report/certificate to consulate?
