1-Mar - Passport portal status - "Police Clearance Certificate has been printed."

It is a small town in South India - AP, From my experience - it moves pretty fast once you're able to track the application. I would recommend your contact in India to reach out proactively after receiving passport admin email if police does not reach out within 2 days. In my case, they made the first call within a day. My dad had to give them a passport photo, neighbor present as witness during verification, passport photocopy, aadhar/ pan and 1500 rupees bribe for doing their damn job lol

Congratulations but 1500 is too high a bribe. Their (cops) excuse is that they bribed someone to get 'the job'.

Mine was delivered on 23 (delayed by BLS because when purolator first tried to deliver there wasn’t anyone at the office to receive it), and no email from BLS yet either.

I was able to get in touch with them after spending an entire day trying to continuously keep calling them. The representative said that they have not opened my package yet and MAY open it on this Friday or next Monday. Once they open the package then they will mail a confirmation letter. So I am assuming that no mail received = package not opened yet. I will post here once I receive any mails for BLS. Could i request you to please keep me posted in case there are any changes or updates at your end. Thanks

Could you please share the passport portal status link?

Is PCC final form same for all? because local police were asking CANADA details such as work location, my designation, work permit expiry date etc. these details included in the PCC form?

PCC form is send directly by mail by bls or bls send it by email to india

Here is my timeline for Indian Pcc:

Sent to Bls: 16 Feb
Able to track the file on Bls: 20Feb
File sent to consulate: 21 Feb
Police verification initiated: 25 Feb
Verification by police: 26th Feb

Police officials said they sent the verification back to I think RPO on 27th but there is no movement after that. Do you guys know how many days it takes to change status from police verification to PCC printed?

I would say, if there is no delay by police then less than 10 business days

Not sure why people are suggesting not to send passports. You have to send your passport if you submitting a postal application. It's on their checklist. You need to send both the photocopies and the original passport. I initially sent only the photocopies to be asked by them to send them my passport.

If you are not sure of it, don't misguide people. Also, if BLS finds your application incomplete, they will email you.

Hi can you please tell me .. I’m applying for pcc from Canada , my present address is different than the passport address in India ,n no one is living in my present address , which address should I need to mention and what Proof should I need to give ? Can I give my parents address and their proof ?

I applied for PCC from Toronto, Today I got an email "Initiation of Police Verification Request(s) for your PCC Application File (No. CATxxxxxxxxx) "

If police go to my house in India what documents they will ask.
