I also got automated email from BLS stating that they have received my application. It says wait for 4-5 days for processing. I assume they will take 4-5 days to verify the application if everything is correct and then forward it to consulate.

Has anyone sent documents which were not self-attested and got the PCC? I see people using the word 'recommended' here which translates to "you can self attest but we dont care that much", instruction should be whether you need to do it or not (applied to all applicants). I don't see anywhere BLS mentioned self-attesting copies or I might have missed reading it. Please let me know where is it written its recommended ?

I Didn't do any self-attestation. Got mine in four weeks.

Yes, the putolator tracking says that my application was delivered to BLS, and someone signed and accepted it on Jan 20. BLS sent me an email saying they received my application but haven't begun processing yet. It has been 8 days and no updates. Some people are reporting getting thier PCC in 3 weeks, my application has not even been sent to the consulate yet????

If you applied with your spouse, try tracking with the other passport number as well. Because in my case I was unable to track with mine. But I was able to track with my spouse's passport. Call them between 3-5 PM until you get line maximum u will get the line after 10 tries.

Same thing happened in my case. Misspelled my mom's name. Note: for everyone: When you fill the form, fill in all the details as per the passport.

Sure. Few Other posts and their timeline said that within a day BLS sent to the next state. That is where got into confusion.
Anyway... will wait for the upcoming week and see how it progresses.

I got an email from BLS about the confirmation of documents and they sent the same to Consulate.
My TimeLine is below


Puralator Pick Up: 18th Jan 2021
Puralator Delivery to BLS: 19th Jan 2021.
BLS Reply on 25h Jan 2021
Passport India Mail Received: 29h Jan 2021(Current Status is 'PCC initiated'

Saturday and Sunday is holiday. So it will be picked up by Monday evening 4. If not call them immediately.

Hi Appuappu, Did they did Police Verification by visiting your home?

if Yes, after how many days your status changed post police verification.
