India PCC from Toronto

Even I could check my status on PSK site on Friday. It was saying ''PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office", but now it says the status of the entered file number is not available in the system. Why suddenly it shows error in the system?

Finally I received PCC today. Here is my timeline -

* BLS tracking - BT
** Passport Seva Portal tracking - PT

8 Jul	Application submitted at BLS Toronto [BT]
10 Jul	Processing at Consulate General [BT]
15 Jul	PCC application is under review at Passport Seva Kendra [PT]
15 Jul	Police Verification Sent to Local Police Station - Received Email
12 Aug	Police Verification Complete - Visit to local police station
13 Aug	PCC ready to be collected from RPO [PT]
21 Aug	PCC application has been granted on 21/08/2020. PCC will be dispatched to the current address of the applicant. The applicant would receive an sms once the PCC is ready for dispatch [PT]
24 Aug	Police Clearance Certificate has been printed successfully on 24/08/2020 and will be dispatched to your current address [PT]
28 Aug	In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre [BT]
31 Aug	Dispatched via Courier [BT]
1 Sep	Delivered to home address via Purolator

Hey I have the same issue. Have raised a grievance in their portal for the same. Seems like a system issue.

Seems like website was updated on 28th August and after that all tracking specific to consulates vanished.
I can track my passport file number but not the PCC with cat****.
Hopefully they fix it ASAP. Though pcc now a days taking longer time but it was providing a status where exactly we need to follow up our applications to expedite.

Great, I have also just registered the same, If others also register, I guess it might get noticed faster.

I have also reported this issue in their website. Along with that emailed Toronto consulate because they mentioned this tracking in their website :

“ Track the status your PCC Application:

https://www.blsindia-canada.com/

https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/statusTracker/trackStatusInpNew

To check on status on passport server, please give file No. starting with cat………….. (in small letters)

Note: Since tracking application mechanism is available, applicants are requested to exercise restraint for making status enquires.”
