Hi All
I am an old applicant. Very new to this forum. "Once bitten twice shy" kind of experience with this immigration application world. I have applied for FSW category in February 2005. Waited till March 2010. Still showing in-process. As per my consultants advice, obtained police verification certificate thrice with the obvious ordeal.
Now as per the enhanced service, my consultant advised me that I am eligible for Fast Track Processing. I have again re-filed on April 2010 from Nova-Scotia. CHC intimated me in mid July'2010 that they have received my application in April'2010 and started processing. This time also I have submitted my IELTS, fresh PCC alongwith all other documents to my consultant and in Oct'2010, CHC updated my status in their e-cas as "Decision Made". A fresh file (or extended file.... I am not sure) was opened in New Delhi in October 2010 and started showing a status " Application Received" which remained same till now. My consultant is unable to provide any proper timeline, when CHC ND will send across the medical call.
Now the processing time in CIC website suggests that in New Delhi, applications are being completed in 15 months. My confusion is, when this 15 months count gets started. Is it the date when Nova-Scotia received the file? or the new file number issued by CHC, New Delhi?
If anyone, in this forum can suggest some possible timeline for receiving medical call in my case. Secondly, what will happen to my old application, which still shows "In Process"?
Any suggestion will truely help.
Thanking you all for your valuable input and suggestion.
Regards
Raj

Dear Raj
Welcome to this forum ...... Great you opened this new thread ... If you can please clarify the following -
(1) Did you sign the documents relating to withdrawal of your 1st application
(2) How come the application is showing Decision Made ... without you going through rest of the procedure ....
(3) Did you get your
new file # ...and if you have checked the eCAS...what os the status
(4) Are you PA for both the applications.
(5) For timelines - There are already several threads running on such topic / issues. The biggest thread in this forum represents for post June 26, 2010 cases / applications ..... including one from New Delhi ...you can see the tracker under my signature and have a guess for latest developments ....
(6) Who is your consultant ......
Never believe them. .... :-[ :-X
Hope I was of
some help to you ....
Cheers, aNil
Dear aNIL
Thanks for your prompt response.. As you advised..kindly take a note of the following...
(1) Did you sign the documents relating to withdrawal of your 1st application
Ans: My consultant suggests that once the medical call for the new application arrives the old application will be auto-closed and visa fee will be refunded. So I did not apply for closing down the old file yet. The status is still showing "In Process"
(2) How come the application is showing Decision Made ... without you going through rest of the procedure ....
Ans: The new case file number allocated by CIO-Nova Scotia has been closed as the status in e-cas showing "Decision Made" but did not send me any decision, actually. My consultant phoned me congratulating that my processing has been through in Nova Scotia and rest of the procedure will be completed in New Delhi visa office viz. Medical call, visa stamping etc.
(3) Did you get your new file # ...and if you have checked the eCAS...what os the status
Ans: Yes I have got all the file numbers. Total three. First one is for the 2005 File (ecas Status "In Process"). Second one is CIO-Nova Scotia (ecas Status "Decision Made"). Third one (file number starts with 'E' unlike other two as 'B') from New Delhi(ecas Status "Application Received").
(4) Are you PA for both the applications.
Ans: I am the PA.
(5) For timelines - There are already several threads running on such topic / issues. The biggest thread in this forum represents for post June 26, 2010 cases / applications ..... including one from New Delhi ...you can see the tracker under my signature and have a guess for latest developments ....
Ans: Thanks for you hint. Surely, I will refer them.
(6) Who is your consultant ......
Ans: I beg your apologies.. I feel the consultant's name might not be appropriate to mention here. But I would provide the clue..They are Delhi based, ISO certified, CIC accredited agency. I find them not as a consultant but as an expensive courier service company only, who delivers my papers to CHC.
Your assessment and suggestion will immensely help.

Hey Raj
Initially I thought you applied 2 times ...... Now I got the clarification. But when did you apply for the third time .....
As for your consultant is concerned, I wanted to just say that you could have applied at your own. These consultants are no better than a courier service ...... Mind you they are not at all fast. They are like our GIP (Great Indian Postal) service!! ..... You can even PM me in case of any query that you can't discuss here.
Cheers, aNil
Dear aNIL
I did not apply for third time. CHC themselves closed the CIO-Nova Scotia file with status "Decision Made" and tranfered the case to New Delhi. The ND VO has opened a new file and the status is "Application Received".
I completely agree that these consultants are basically functions as courier service. They do not have a simple update on the processing time for their clients. I feel that CIC has now became matured and they have identified the lapses in the system (as reflected in their recent policy changes), which were being misused by these consultants community.
I would definitely join in PM to discuss in detail with you. Kindly share the background of your case and current status.
Thanks indeed for your prompt response.
Regards
Raj
Hey Raj, I can understand your case very well as my case is very similar. Dont know why CHC is taking soo long even under fast track, and buddy there is no one who can predict exact or tentative timelines (its all trend analysis which people are doing on forums). We just need to wait for right time to complete this process and go over to Canada.
