Independent contractor experience for CEC Express entry.

I have 8 months of experience as a full-time employee and 7 months of experience as an independent contractor. My question is, can I count my independent contract work experience for CEC Express entry?

I have an experience letter and proof of payment from independent contract job.

Unfortunately, no, self-employment is excluded from eligible Canadian experience under EE and the CEC program.
