I just received my passports and COPR and all info is good except my original entry date. I came to Canada in May 2010 originally and then visited my home country for 3 months and returned in Feb 2012. My last entry was Feb 2012 but my original entry is also the same as last entry. Is this fine? Can I ask the officer at the border to correct it?

The date was different because of new passport I guess. The last entry which you mentioned is on the new passport right.. just ask the officer, he/she will explain it to you...

Both the last entry and the original entry were on the same passport...I wil show it to the officer as the proof..Also, I visited US last month by road and re-entered by road, is that not considered as the last entry into Canada?

Definitely you can get back home after getting your passport back, and then land on your way back to Canada. The visa will be valid until one year after your medical exam.
