I submitted my mother's PCC request through BLS, however the verification was not clear. I found out it was because the police station was not correct. I provided one that was in Khanna because my uncle resides there, however the address on my mum's password and Aadhar card is of Ludhiana. The house in Ludhiana was sold so I provided the Khanna address and this has caused the "not clear" report. I'm running out of time to submit the PCC. My file is still open and says it's processing at general consulate however I know it's not going to process due to the incorrect information. How do I get my file closed so I can resubmit the application with the correct address?
Are you applying from Canada? I emailed this contact pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in. you can search in this forum with this email ID on how people contacted them. Basically said I sent my PCC and it seems like there was an error when I misinterpreted the address and filled the incorrect one. Provide your file # and ARN number and just be apologetic and accepting there was an error. they'll reply and ask you to submit the correct address. The address should match exactly as on the passport. The phone number would be of the person who will do the verification on your behalf. They don't need to reside at the same address. In my experience, after correcting the address to match the one on passport, i provided a neighbor's phone number and the police called and asked where they can come for the verification. They went to the neighbors address and completed the verification. They did take some extra cash on the side to get it done. Just fyi.
HiI @navsingh01 , thanks for replying to me. I tried mailing the consulate explaining the situation and did not receive a response on the mail however I do see that the status has now changed "PCC has been printed". Do you know if this means it was cleared and printed or does this status also show even if it was not clear?
