Hi, I applied under NOC 4131 with my wife as primary applicant. Today, the status is showing as In Process, but rest all is same. What does this mean.
Also, my wife is currently on maternity leave. If visa office personnel calls her office for verification, she will not be available. Would it be a negative ? Please suggest. I am very worried.
Thanks
Well its not much different from other applicants status. Lots of applicants are in similar situation, hope the certainty in government from current election might bring some good news.
According to my knowledge i think its not a big deal, but anyhow i think it would be better for you to conform with the officer.
This means your File has been picked up for review
Nothing of consequence will happen for 6 to 8 weeks
And it does not matter if your wife is on maternity leave as long as the employer gives the right answers
Maternity means you have delayed your procedure further more and you will have to send fees docs of the new member to the VO

Its good symptom. Your application went a head. Could you share us whether there is - Your application was reviewed and process has begun on ...... date inside "In process" or just Application received by Visa office ?? If there is former one then B/G checks will, and other things will be examined. If the later one is inside it your file still has not begun to process.
God bless you
Status is "In Process" and inside is the same as that of RBVO. So, I think the processing has still not begun, and it might be just a system error.
but status changing to "In Process" should mean that something have happened with the file, either it has been put in a queue for processing.
Is it possible that the status might have changed to In Process because I have recently sent the documents along with fees of my newborn daughter ? Might be possible...
Any suggestions....?
Hello,
Inside the "In process" status; my last update on ECAS file is "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on July 22, 2010". any idea what does it mean? anyone?
Thanks
