I'm already here! I came to Canada in April 2011. So all i have to do now is wait for the COPR to come in the mail and then we'll go down to the border, spend a day in Buffalo, eat at the Cheesecake Factory (my personal reward to myself, lol) and LAND!!

If the status of sponsor application changes to "decision made" shouldn't the status of PR application changes to "in process" if the decision is YES?

Right now PR application is still "application received"

No, not until the processing VO actually starts working on your file. Ours remained at "application received" for 4 months.

We got our first stage approvals on May 17th 2012...then we were asked to pay landing fee on September 2012 at which time our status changed to "in process" and since then nothing has happened...medial will be expired on Jan 28th...So I don't know should we redo it or will they extend it?

I guess this can be real good or real bad..I am confused I really hope we get an update from them soon...and oh ANKARA office...

any thoughts?????

I've only read of ONE member here who re-did their medical before being asked. You can go get one done 'same day' right? Personally, I'd wait until they ask you for it.

True you can get one done same day and I m not worrying about that...I am just going to wait until I hear from them first. but my question is shudn't they be asking for our passports around this time? or the time line is normal do you think?

@Mary, i am in the same situation like your about the in process and medical redo. My wife attended an interview since November 28 2012 and no decision was taking at the interview. Then January 10 2013 ecas change to in process after her medical has expired a week before the in process appeared. Since then we never heard anything from them about redo medical so i am now waiting for my vo in accra to tell us what we should do next or in any letter will be mail to us regarding their decision.

@mary, when you click the in process link did it say we start processing you application on xxxxx date?
