I would like to know if I can work!

From my understanding, I can work part time while in my last semester if I am not enrolled in full time studies, since by default I am just finishing my program.

However, I will be in this "last semester" for two more semesters in addition to the one I am enrolled in because it's taking me some time to complete my thesis. I am only enrolled in one course for thesis continuation.

Please advise. Thanks!
