IMPORTING CAR - QUESTION?

So we had put down his car as "goods to follow" and have driven his car into Canada with all of his stuff. Now that we are settled down a bit, we decided we don't actually want to import his car, and are going to send it back to America to give to his family. Because we listed the car as a goods to follow already, how do we remove it as a goods to follow and avoid the fees?
