I am on a temporary work visa and am in the final stages of my PR process. I hope to soon land and had a question involving the importing of my car.
When I came to Canada on my temporary work visa I brought my car and registered it in Canada. Now that I am landing as a PR (essentially changing my status from temporary to permanent) will I need to go through the process of importing my car? Or because it already has Canadian plates is it already technically imported?
Lastly, if I do need to import it, can I drive the car through the boarder when I land (I am in Canada now so will need to flagpole), and delay the import process.
