I was referring to the threadstarter's IELTS results....and IELTS score of 4 and 5 is pretty low. I understand the background but you're migrating to an English speaking country and struggling on language proficiency will make life in Canada difficult. It's absolutely necessary to be better at that...it's gonna be difficult but you need to do this to survive.
We need to think long term. Yes, you can get away with the low IELTS score using a different visa option outside of Express Entry, but after that, you will still need to be good at the language to get a good paying job
exactly true and can never really understand why anyone would just want to scrape through on IELTS to emigrate to an English speaking country unless really desparate. Yes its hard but it will be even harder if cannot read, speak, write, listen in English as there will not be much sympathy anywhere when applying for that good paying job.
From another angle also think about those people coming from English speaking countries such as UK,NZ and Australia who also have to do IELTS having used English since birth . IELTS can even be hard for them but they still have to do it and pass with a good average .Maybe easier to achieve but if someone has not taken tests/ exams for years the pressure still on them to get a pass mark and IELTS is not very forgiving as many people on forum will attest to regardless of where they are from.
There was nothing to do with religion and should not be discussed here. We are supporting each other regardless of any background, race, religion etc. He asked me about his IELTS competency against his NOC and I only sent him jobbank skill link as per his NOC but it looks like he got offended with his NOC link and started with harsh comments & personality attack etc. If he was aware of CIC IELTS assessment criteria then he shouldn't ask me in the first place. Anyway chapter is closed and move on.
SOME TIME RELIGION IS NOT THE FACTOR BUT MENTALITY.
ANY ONE CAN HELP TO EACH AND EVERYBODY.
WHEN ARSAL IS SAYING " I AM TRYING TO HELP THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE KEEPING IN POSSESSION 5.5 IELTS BAND SCORE. I THINK IT IS GOOD TO ADMONISH THE APPLICANT WHO ARE FALLING UNDER THIS CRITERIA.
I THINK EVERYBODY IS SEEKING BENEFIT FROM THIS FORUM.
AND IT IS ALSO VERY INFERIOR COMPLEXITY TO WRITE AGAINST SOMEONE critical remark.
Just like in the real world, you get to encounter all sorts of personalities in forums. People who are harsh with words, people who don't make sense, people who exist just to troll, people who readily help others.
We come from different backgrounds and we owe it to ourselves to be more tolerant and accepting.
Back to the topic, it is generally advisable to maintain at least a 6 across all bands to meet the minimum requirements. If you want to gain additional points from IELTS then you need at least 7.5 or 8 per band.
