This change will affect most applicants. New criterion will be used for points calculation. This has happened in past for several candidates. Dig deep in this forum and you will find several cases that had sufficient points at the time of application submission but insufficient points when application was reviewed. That's how MIDI rolls . Sorry for affected people. :'(
Sadly I just applied last month with hope. Today I called then and they said in my situation I have to obtain 50 instead of 49 when I had 49 exactly lol...

Yes we can't let this injustice to happen to us.we all are in same boat now.so all we have to do is row our boat together to be treated us in equally justice.
Quebec has Cap exempt applicants - those with valid job offer.
Quebec has his quota from Federal when it comes to amount of applicants they can approve for the year.
Quota for Quebec does not change regardless if the have many job offer applicants or just few.
So that is they way to correct the amount of application (I guess, that they have realized, that they have way too many applications and they try to adjust it).
Is it fair to the people that applied - no
Unfortunately, Quebec is the master of the applications so to fight it will not be easy.
It also looks that they are actively trying to push out applicants without French language (most of them were balancing on the edge of eligibility before).
I think now the time is to take legal action immediately for this international online fraud.
For "MIDI initially published eligible critaria changed suddenly after the payments of all affected applicants"...
