Implied status

I entered Canada as a visitor and filed for my PR with provincial nomination certificate, since the PR will take time I also applied for Work permit , do i get to stay in Canada on implied status till my work permit decision is made ? Is implied status also applicable for PR application ?

1. Implied status for work permit (if you are eligible), No implied status for PR applications.

I have applied for PR under entrepreneur stream Provincial nomination and was told that I can obtain a work permit and start setting up my business even before I get my PR. This was told by the representative from the NB department and hence I applied for work permit
