I also have a question about implied status. My Working Holiday Visa expired on the 16th this month and I have a conditional acceptance letter for a Young Professionals Visa, so I have implied status at the moment. I am just trying to make sure if I am allowed to work or not. I am not working right now, but could I?

Hi,
Would you be working for the same employer or a new one?-if it's the same employer and your workpermit application was recieved before your old one expired then yes you can still continue to work until a decision is made!!-I hope that helps
If you are rejected, you will have 90 days from the date of the refusal to restore your status. At that point, you can apply for restoration AND to change status to visitor OR apply for restoration AND new work permit(if you have corrected the issue that caused rejection or you now have a LMO).
Once you apply to restore status, you can stay in Canada until a decision is made. If they reject it again and it's been more than 90 days since your last refusal, you would have to leave Canada immediately and apply from your home country.
