Hi,

I am in dilemma and need a suggestion if anyone expert or encountered situation similar as me.
I am working in US based company as software engineer in India and recently got Canada PR.
Apart from that I had visited USA once on L1 visa and currently in process of renewal of L1 visa again. I am in India right now.

I don't intend to live in USA and want to settle in Canada only but being an Indian citizen can I work in USA on L1 with Canadian PR?
I am looking for work from home option but employment will be of USA. So I might need to visit the US office often which I think I can do on L1 with multiple in n out stamping.

But my concern here is, Are there any negative implications of doing it? Can it affect my PR status?
Reason to ask this is, If I get transfer, I can save the hustle of finding Job again in Canada and can settle down quickly.

You need to live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 years to keep your PR status. That's the only requirement you need to be worried about.

I heard some cases where PR status revoked if they doubt about permanent intention to stay in Canada.

The US does this for green cards. Canada does not.
