Impact of Canada Post strike on receiving passport

Hi,
Anyone else impacted by the Canada Post strike here? The passport tracker shows that my passport has been printed & is ready for mailing. But I assume the mail delivery due to the ongoing strike. I tried calling the number provided by Service Canada, but wait times are huge? Anybody else has been through this? What did you do? Any pointers will be helpful. Looking to get my Canadian passport, so that I can surrender my Indian passport. I am planning to travel to India in Jan 2025. I have heard the Indian passport surrender process takes a bit of time. Hence, wanted to get my Canadian passport at the earliest. Thanks in advance

For visitor's visa, I would need to surrender my Indian passport, which in turn requires my Canadian passport - and hence my query.

I had called the number shared in that link & waiting time was huge. So wanted to check if anybody had any recent experience.

Yeah, the link talks about visiting a Service Canada location to switch to a pickup service too, could try that

Yes, before trying that wanted to check if anybody had gone through the process - if visiting the office helps.
