IMP!!! Does WES consider MBA in Distance from IMT GHAZIABAD

Mine is 1year course of PGDM(Executive) from IMT CDL.

Has anyone any idea about ECA credential by IQAS for 1yr course??

Timeline for the much awaited ECA for my girl friend.

All documents (Application and All Transcripts) reached IQAS: 12th Jan 2018

1st AoR: 20th Jan 2018 (after follow up)
2nd AoR: 2nd Mar 2018

ECA Soft copy: 9th Apr 2018
Total time taken: 12 Weeks from receiving documents.

Courses she has completed:
Bachelor of Science from University of Kolkata (3 years)
Master of Science from University of Kolkata (2 years)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMT CDL (2 years)

Credentials given:
Masters credential for University of Kolkata degree.
University Diploma credential for IMT CDL - PGDM.

What this means is that, although IQAS recognized IMT CDL, they do not give MASTERS credential for 2 Year PGDM course. (Not sure about 1 year course). They only gave University Diploma credential. If you do not have any other PG degree, you probably will have to go with 'More than one certificates with at least one degree being 3 years' option, when you create your profile.

I'm yet to submit my transcripts, waiting for engg univ transcripts to arrive. If they don't approve yours then no use going for IQAS, will be better off will WES since its much quicker.



Where did you get this info? I opened my one of my transcripts as I have multiple copies, it was stamped by Dean and not the controller of examinations. BTW since you are saying did your IMTCDL diploma got recognized?

i will be sending the copies again to WES as if you send the dean signed copies it will be rejected or not recognized...
you need to shake them up for Controller of Examinations stamp or Registrar stamp...

Thanks for sharing this. Its a ray of hope for many of us. I did MBA (Not PGDM/PGDBM) from IMT CDL 2004-2007. At that time course was recognized by Vidyasagar University. I personally think that we should contact VU for official transcript instead of IMT Ghaziabad because IMT was just an institute but the actual degree was awarded by Vidyasagar University. All of the courses of Vidyasagar University are recognized by WES.

I have received a letter from IMT during a recent email communication with them.
They have shared a letter issued by Vidyasagar University to IMT stating that VU is approving IMT to conduct such courses in the year 2003. But it is not mentioned anywhere that these courses are approved by ugc or not.

But his degree was not approved by WES
