Please share your experience regarding immigration check at new delhi airport with respect to the money being taken to canada. What do the custom officers ask about the stuff we are taking and in particlar about the money we carry along

The customs or immigration will not ask about the stuff you carry. In case the customs ask about the funds you are carrying, you can tell it is for your settlement expense in Canada. Usually no one will bother you if you carry foreign currency legally.
