If you have been driving prior to landing in BC, it's adviceable to come with a letter from an insurance company stating the number of years you have been driving without making an insurance claim.
This helps in bringing down cost of car insurance.
Do also bring copies originals of current and prior driving licences

I too don't have 1st hand experience but have friends that say Govt schools can be compared to the pvt schools in Middle east or your home countries and Pvt schools in Canada are very expensive for elite clang to people.
As an immigrant choose your settling location near your kids school initially.
There is no special way to buy codesharing tickets. You need to buy the ticket from the Airline and its their internal understanding with the airline partner but they will inform you.
This is done because the airline might not have much passengers on that route hence they share the traffic with other airline.
www.makemytrip.com is a 3rd party website and also you can be pay in AED and also in installments. The rates mentioned are very reasonably competitive.
Just compare the price directly by the airline and via 3rd party. Since Ethihad and emitrates both have direct flight to Toronto.

The letter I am talking about is from an insurance company in Nigeria which as it were gives you discounts with car insurance. This I know works in BC when a person comes with what they refer to as your insurance history.

I think better we have to take the good flight since it is long journey... ( I prefer Emirates or British airlines)
