IMM0008 CSQ question (7) for Quebec applicant

Hi,

As I understand you first submit the full application (Sponsor and sponsored apps) to CIC (Missisagua). If the Sponsor is approved CIC send you an AOR and ask you to submit and undertaking and CSQ to MICC. MICC would send to CIC the CSQ and another copy for you. And you need then to send this CSQ to your VO in our case Paris.

is the above correct and accurate?

Why IMM0008 as you the below question?

Have you received your Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ)?

Check the corresponding box
If you checked “Yes”, please indicate the CSQ number
If you checked “No”, indicate the date when you applied for your CSQ

Yes and you have to send the CSQ to CIC then. You should write No CSQ.

I have the same question.. I answered I don't have CSQ but they still ask you when did you apply for it? isn't it a weird question considering that you need the CIC approved letter in order to ask for a CSQ? and before you get that letter you need to complete the IMM0008 form??
I just don't get it and I wouldn't like to make mistakes that could cost me more months of waiting..

Here's what I did:
Do you have CSQ? Answered No
When did you apply for it? Answered N/A
I didn't get any problems or delays about that.
