IMM 5540 Help with Q 9 - Which Canadian Visa Office issued your immigration visa

Hi,

I am sponsoring my wife and for that i need to fill out the IMM 5440 form called "Sponsor Questionnaire".

I am stuck at this question # 9

Are you a naturalized Canadian or permanent resident of Canada?

My answer to this q. is 'YES'....because I just became a PR of Canada in March 2014.

The follow up Q is where i am stuck "Which Canadian visa office issued your immigrant visa or confirmation of permanent residency"?

I am not sure where to find this information? I had applied for my PR under the Canadian Experience Class in 2013 Jan and I don't remember which office I sent my application to.....how do i find out?

If someone can help, that would be awesome!

I think you will find where did you applied/who issued your PR from your landing paper.It should be there.

For me below was my answer of this question in a separate sheet :
After getting my CSQ, sent my PR application to Case Processing Centre: Sydney, Nova Scotia in December, 2011.
My one time Immigration Visa was issued from Buffalo as per my passport (See passport photocopy attached).
After getting my Visa, I landed at Champlain/Saint-bernard-de-Lacolle – U.S. Interstate 87, Adronack Northway/ Canadian Autoroute 15 by land.

Definitely call Cic. I called them after being in Canada 28 years and they still had all my info on hand.
