Image has to be front only or back as well and it has to be jpg or pdf? because if back is included then it would be in pdf format.
question arose in my mind because of confusing information given by the cic website. At one point they say, front and back is required and at back you need the address clearly mentioned, whereas while uploading they say they say they want DPI at least 420 x 540 blah blah, all this would be gone if I convert it into a pdf...

I think the photo specifications you're referring to (the one with your name, date of birth, address of the photographer and date of photo on the back) are for the photos they request once your application is approved and they request hard-copy passport photos from you along with your passport for the PR visa stamp. For the digital photo upload though, you only need to upload the front of the photo, so a JPEG is fine.
Hey guys, on IRCC portal i need to upload my document and limit photo size is 2MB,but even it less 2MB it give me error that size or format is not correct
Also,it uploaded when size is less 10 KB,but quality of my documents is very bad,could anyone advice me sth how to handle this?
