Hi ohcanadian,
I have my medical and passport request was on 19th November,
And I'm waiting for decision made, now just before a week ago my IELTS expired, so is that
Any possibility by NDVO to ask it for resubmit IELTS?? Pls reply. Thanks
Your IELTS score should be valid since CIC received it before it was 2 years old. So it is unlikely they will ask for further language info/tests (though they reserve the right to always ask for more info).
Hello everyone ...
I took my IELTS on March 19th, 2011 and it lasts for 2 years until it gets expired.
However, Today CIC returned my application marking it as incomplete and stating that IELTS should not be older than 2 years from the date that it has been submitted to CIC
So basically there is 13 days left on my IELTS as it will expire on March 19th 2013 so it is valid. Am I right an can complain about this or am I missing something here?

For May 2014 filing, is my IELTS still valid if it will expire on sept3, 2013? TIA! A friend read somewhere that for those who took their exam earlier than oct 2011 should re-take. How true?
IELTS are valid for 2 years from the date of issue. If you submit your file in 2014, it is obviously expired, no-brainer. If you had to file in 2013 and they evaluate your eligibility as positive and process your file before the exiry of your IELTS, then it should be okay. They would not ask again for IELTS.

Application received and eligibility review dates may be different. Once Central intake unit opens your file and makes sure that you meet your eligibility criteria, if then your IELTS score is valid, then all good.
