Ielts score - eligibility

Hi All,

My ielts score is:

Listening Reading Writing Speaking Overall
7.5. 5.5 7.0 7.5 7.0

My concern here is in my reading score 5.5, that is not in cob Level list.

Reading score 5 is in cob level 6 and Reading score 6 is in cob level 7 but my score is 5.5, what is cob level for my score

Hi,

My apologies to post agian for re-confirmation.

As i mentioned, CIC states that score of 6 for one ability and score of 7 for two abilites and score of 8 for 1 ability.

Can i consider my reading in CLB level is 6 as i have 5.5 in IELTS.

reading of 5 score is CLB level 6. Mine is a bit greater and so can i consider my score as CLB level 6 for reading.

In case if reading is CLB 6 then i dont have any issues as i have CLB level 8 for remaining 3 abilities.

If it's for O, A
You should have all categories of minium of IELTS score of 6 ( CLB 7) then only you will be eligible.

Unfortunately you should re-take the exam if it's for Skill level O, A

He mentioned NOC 2283, so skill level B. He's good to go.
