Hello,

I have the following score in IELTS.

Listening : 5.5
Reading : 7.5
Writing : 6.5
Speaking: 6.5

Am i eligible to apply under Canadian experience Class (NOC 2174). Skill level A.

for NOC 0 & A, minimum either 7,7,7,7 or 6,7,7,8
for NOC B, minimum either 5,5,5,5 or 4,5,5,6

Excerpt from the application guide:

•If you have qualifying Canadian work experience at Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A of NOC, your test results must match the CLB/NCLC below (see chart):
◦7 or higher for each of the language abilities, or
◦6 for any one of the language abilities, 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability
•If you have qualifying Canadian work experience at Skill Level B of NOC, your test results must match the CLB/NCLC below(see chart):
◦5 or higher for each of those abilities, or
◦4 for any one of those abilities, 5 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 6 or higher for the remaining ability.

Suggest either you find a NOC B or redo the test with a little more practise i guarantee you will do better. Hope this helps my friend

Read about it on cic site. You have anough score. Note that CLB is not the same as IELTS scores.
7 CLB can be 6 IELTS. RTFM. ;)

Does anyone have this CIC link?
