Guys, refer to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/language-testing.asp
You need 6.0 in every category.
 
You should have 6 in all 4 sections.
You need to retake the exam in your case because you got 5.5 in Writing.
 
Yes I agree with Jaihanuman, you need 6 and above in each category and at least 7 Overall for A category
