IELTS Remark prospects

13 May, 2017: L7.5 R8.5 W7 & S6.5. Feeling absolutely gutted for the speaking result. What are the odds for increasing speaking by 0.5 if i opt for EoR. Need advise.

Hi bro. U need an extra 0.5 in Listening as well.. speaking thr are more chance if u feel u r confident abt the way u spoke.

PS: i m planning for an EoR. I too need 0.5 in S

It is s very difficult to judge yourself during speaking exam compare to writing, and every band-7 candidate is bound to mistakes. So I will not say that you should only go for EOR if you are fully confident that you performed well. If you can wait, and you wanna take a chance then go for it.

I scored same marks in Speaking, and I don't remember how I performed in this module because of exam pressure (a natural thing) but still I applied for re-evaluation and hopefully waiting for the outcome.

Still waiting for the outcome , and my center was BC Pakistan and the remarking fee was 13,320 PKR.

Oh.. tats too much of a wait and too much money bro! here it's just half the amount i believe (for general training IELTS alone) . Anyways Best of luck. U ll sneak thro glad if u keep posting ur status.

Have sent my EOR n TRF three days back. It reached BC Delhi. Fingers crossed.. one clarification. There is no negative marking! is it not? i applied only with that info back in mind. Though I require 0.5 only in speaking, i applied for a remark in writing as well.. jus in case if I didn't get an increase in speaking i could try my luck in writing (though an increase in writing is insignificant barring few CRS points and not CLB 9) so that I could atleast get a refund

They can not mark down any score. Either the score/scores increases or remains the same.

Thank u for the clarity. Will applying for remark in more than one section do take more time for the results ?! Any idea?! In my case I selected writing too though I really didn't look for any increase as such.

Hii all.. did anyone received thr remark results?!! I am waiting for 6 straight weeks till now. Since thr r not many draws happened in the last 6 weeks I m getting spared.. dunno still how many weeks I need to wait.. guys! Do anyone of u got a result?? Positive or negative..?!! Pls share ur experience...
