Hi,
I got the IELTS result and below are the details.
Listening :8.5
Reading :6.5
Writing :7.0
Speaking :7.0
Can you please tell me how many points I got in each skills for Canada immigrations?
Thanks
If you had 0.5 pts more for reading it would have been CLB9. It was very close.
How many points I can claim in the language category?

you will get 20 marks as you have 6.5 in reading. see the below link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp
Official Languages = 119
but if you could raise your reading to 7.0 you could get:
Official Languages = 127
and
50 pts extra for Skill transferability factors (25 for Foreign work experience and 25 for Education).
which gives: 58 pts extra to your profile.
Play with this tool: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
I'm preparing for IELTS now, and i suppose my average score will be 7-8. Is it enough for Canadian Visa?
What visa? You mean, is it enough to be in Express Entry pool? Yes. But there are another factors like Education and Experience (foreign and Canadian), age, family.
