Hi Every One,

I have submited IELTS Acadamic instead of General IELTS test.
Please advice that my application should be rejected due to Acadamic IELTS test or they will consider it.

Regards,
Mian

I think your application will be returned. As the rules clearly state that you should apply with General.

In my case, I was asked to give an IELTS General Test result.

Old time my friends.... Old times....

Things are strict nowadays. Though it would be great if they do give a chance to update.

Hi Every One,

I have applied for Skilled class immigration on 03/03/2008. My file is still in process. I was in pakistan when i applied my applicaiton. but now i am in UK. My file is in CIC london office. they requested the update application forms, any new information, change of employment etc. they give me 45 days time to replay. otherwise they will close my file. I need ask you question that can i request them for time extention as my documets will take more time to complete.
second thing, it is third time they requested update application forms. I am surprised that they request the filled application forms again and again but they did not take decision. Please advice me that how long time they will take to decision. i am worried that may be they reject my file. i have paid all application fee in 2008. Note according to new criteria in 28th feb 2008. i fullfil all the requiremets for immigration and my points were 72, more then passing marks.

I submited two times IELTS Acadamic result with 6 bands, not less then 5.5 in each indivisual component of ILETS. Please advice me that do i need to provide General or they may consider my acadamic IELTS.

please advice me.

Nawaz

Are you suggesting that I should check the entire posting history of a member before replying? Seriously!

As for the previous that you are mentioning the OP edited his/her post to 3/3 instead of 2/3.

Try not to get personal with others.... No one is getting paid here.

you didn't get my point. whether it was 3/3 or 2/3 he still belongs to category where immigration rules were different and that time ielts academic was acceptable. i meant you already knew that he belongs to old category when you corrected yourself that he is 3/3/2008 but you still advising him his ielts academic is not acceptable?????????did u forget in such short time????huh

geonawaz, dont wait nd take ur test for IELTS general as soon as possible...send it to CIC with a cover letter...if ur application is returned u can still apply again..i hope ur caps not reached.
