I have submitted my landing fee and completed medical from approved physician doctor as cic London office requested for medical and landing fee. I did not receive any decision letter from cic office regarding my skilled worker case. I have submitted my IELTS Academic test while the general test is required for SW. Please can you inform that my case is in final stage? Will they issue visa soon or they can investigate for general test.
Please also inform required time for visa getting.

When you submitted your medical and landing fee? Your VO?
Something called Background Checks, which usually starts after clearing medical. The Canadian govt recheck your Police Report and usually send letter to your country police head for confirmation that you are not involved in any criminal activities.
Developed countries, police has a centralized database and they respond quickly. Now it depends on your country police that how quickly they respond.
I have just submited my landing fee and medical one week ago 25th October 2012. Please can you also inform about IELTS test as have submited Acadamic test two time but did not submited general test even single time. Will they ask for General test or Acadamic test will be Ok. I submited my application in 3 march 2008
