For the Q. "Study already been carried out"..That ARC paragraph was definitely not the answer. i wrote journey is short instead of short ones... is that incorrect ? also i think i wrote as a speaker instead of a speaker... ( i think the question was which is the role )

yeah same here.. i see online that evryone wrote a speaker or speaker... if "As a speaker" is incorrect i wont repeat this mistake... same goes for short ones... i wrote short as that also made sense in the sentence ...

I suppose they are correct. It made sense as per the question statement. I also wrote the same. However any alternate views from forum members fading the same are also welcome.

I think as a speaker shud not be incorrect as it was same as in the passage but journey is short is not same as written in passage

Wat i meant i wrote just one word i.e "Short". It made sense as per the question. Does anyone remember the question stem of this question? Will help in deciding the answer.

yeah.. i thgt the same.. next time will have to be careful with these ones... even after knowing the answer we can get it wrong !

True, however dont think 'short' is wrong unless we have question stem. Also It was in fill in the blanks one word section I reckon.

no it was 2 words.... short ones is what majority of people are saying.....

Not sure on this as it was fitting fine in the sentence. Moreover, majority is not always right as can be seen from answers to certain questions in reading and listening. Hence debatable

absolutely correct. i remember it was making sense in the sentence...... lets see ! hoping that it is correct !
