Hello guys, my name is Rodrigo, I'm from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.
I took IELTS on December 2nd and scored Overall 7.0
Speaking 6.0
Writing 6.0
Reading 8.5
Listening 7.0
I have 29 years, Engineering Bachelor Degree, single, 3 years of experience in engineering area.
With that IELTS results, I achieved 353 points in CRC. That's far from the minimum to apply for.
My only option here is taking IELTS again and try to get CLB 9.
I've read that many people try 3, or 4 times and don't get the score. So I was wondering about try the Academics and join a public college of 2 years for example and get the PGWP.
Someone have other opinion on what is better to do?
With my CLB 7 is there any immigration program that I qualify for?
It's more likely that I improve my english in 2 years studying in Canada than trying to learn by my own in Brazil and spending money on IELTS with no assurance of getting a better grade.
What do you think? Really need your advice here. Thank you guys.
