I believe it was Prestnby or Prestndy --------there was an odd "B' or "D" after Prestn. It was not Prestney for sure.

That's what I'd thought! It was a really weird last name. I was expecting some kind of name that would be straight forward, but hey! Surprise!

I wrote Prestney, that's what I heard.
Prestndy or Prestnby doesn't sound like a last name, nor something they'd put on the test. If it is, they really want people to fail.

In which we had to match w the centuries...

I thought this part was fairly easy but I don't remember the answers now.

There was 1 more with answer 16th century I believe

It was Prestney as one of my classmate have the same name...

But I've seen IELTS tricking w that many times......like spelling names in completely crazy ways...not saying that was the case tho

It was Prestney as one of my classmate have the same name...

the penultimate letter the guy said when spelling his last name was u , i hear clearly u not e , but maybe in NZ they pronounce that letter that way, very tricky

Seeing so many people say the Last Name was "Prestney", makes me wonder if that's actually the correct one haha! Anyway, we'll see. Let's hope for the best!

Would be great if more people could share their answers for these questions:

Reading NG/T/F

Origins - NG
Ball aim at wall - T ( ricochets off the wall)
Clubs sponsored by business - NG
Balls of same material - F ( although)
Real tennis more demanding - T ( fast paced, etc. and comparison to ordinary tennis being a tame twiddly..etc.etc.)
virtually no spectator - T (In the para that read how they brought it indoors and its outcome)
Association organizing construction of courts - T ( Sentence read: Projects (organize) are afoot to bring up courts or something like that in the last para)
Courts in eng are underused - F ( Last paragraph which mentioned how its so busy)

If someone post the questions I think I can remember the answers, but otherwise I won't.
Mine were very similar to yours, I think I just marked NG to the Association organizing the constructions. The rest all the same.
The one of the ball material, I thought it was a tricky one, I almost marked NG but in the end I opted for F

In fact, I also put NG to the ''Association organizing the constructions''.....not sure tho
