Because pest deterrent was written in case of gardens

Don't remember the letters but it was payment for serviced, as addition to sweet foods and as garden pest deterrent. Garden pest and addition to food was clearly mentioned in the texts. And I think payment for services was indirectly mentioned in the second paragraph.
