I also don't remember the answer for 38 but I wrote the same for section 4 except the plural of number 40 (FURS). I guess it will not be a problem. we are also the same on Section 1. section 2, the map, was also very easy. how was it for you? I hope we will score 35 for band 8.
Sorry for the double post, i'd like to ask whether both the booklet and the answer sheets are marked for the listening part? The examiner told us the booklets for the reading and writing part won't be checked and that we could underline texts, use them as draft..etc but they didn't mention this in the listening section
I wish I could. but if we can recreate questions, finding an answer could be possible. Having said that, I remember some of them.
1. Underground transit- F(low level access to subway)
2. large business meeting- E(accommodate 1000 people for business meetings)
3. can accommodate a large number of family members- F( 585 double bedrooms)
4. best for those who want to enjoy nature- C (walking and hiking trial)
5. cross border- G(the bridge between the USA and Canada)
6. a large number of eateries- I forgot the option where it was mentioned that there were number of restaurants, could be E or F.
That is a good approach. The structure of that essay should contain one introductory paragraph, two or three body paragraph, and one conclusion paragraph. On the introductory paragraph you paraphrase the topic and put a general statement as background then your level of agreement. In the body you should answer why public speech is important and reason and example for your agreement/disagreement. Then you will conclude by rephrasing the topic and restating your level of agreement/disagreement.

S@j, you have good memories of the exam. let me contribute 5 answers from the map and modify 35 and 40 to SOUP and FURS just to be on the safe side

If I understand you correctly, you are asking if it was possible to write on the listening booklet. In this case, it is definitely possible to do what ever you want on the booklet. For instance, I have underlined every keyword before and after the gap and in choices and so on. The examiner will never see that.
