Thanksfor reply,but in my listening paper question asked for NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER.
Therefore, I am highly confused as if they will accept EIGHTEEN instead of what speaker said EIGHTEENTH..

Question was regarding DATE OF BIRTH and 1978 was not there in the question and it was all blank.

Hi,thanks for reply.Just need to be assured that when we have to write words then writing eighteen instead of eighteenth will be marked correct too even if speaker said 18th?
as the other case of writing in numbers like 18th or 18 are considered correct.
but was very much confused with writing the same in words..

yes,thats why I didnot write that and had to write 18 in words.now im stuck between 18 or 18th correct words representation.I donot know what is acceptable in ielts.
