Few things i noted are to use more transition words while writing, more active sentences rather than passive and, leave a line between each paragraphs. Also if you are short of knowledge regarding on going issues and current affairs, then go for ielts liz's essay topics.
go through Ielts Liz's and E2 ielts videos. Very very helpful.
Write more and more correct complex sentences and you can easily score above 7. I was expecting 7, surprisingly received 7.5.
I think using conjunctions is the easiest way to score good in Writing as well as Speaking module.
