ICT Work Permit (GSS) India Timelines

Hi Guys, Need a suggestion. The processing time for Work permit from India is showing as 37 weeks. Is it really that long wait? I have applied for ICT work permit and was curious to know about timelines. Any information on it will be highly appreciated.

I am new to this. Could somebody please mention which office process the work permit under AIPP program? I have applied online on IRCC website....does embassy or high commission of the country from which the application is made has any role in it? Is there any difference in processing time in case the application is process by IRCC or local embassy or high commission?

we have observed around 50 days for GSS

processing time starts from biometrics date not from application date... in your case you are less than 30 days of wait

Application Submitted : 10th Dec 2021
Biometrics : I have valid biometric for 10 years, it was update in account automatically.
Medicals Passed : 05th Jan 2022
Review of additional document : We don't need addition document
Background check: We are processing your background check
Review of eligibility: Your application is in progress
Final Decision: Your application is in progress

Application submitted : 15 Nov(OWP for spouse and study permit for kid)
Medicals upfront: Oct 19
Biometrics: Jan 3rd
Medicals updated:Spouse and kid- Dec 5, Mine -Jan 7th
Awaiting PPR.
I had a doubt , for whoever who has applied for OWP for spouse, did they request for any additional documents like reference letter from their previous employers? I actually did not include any of those since they did not ask for it mandatorily.
