No - there isn't. IRCC/CIC won't tell you the outcome ahead of processing your application and they don't provide advice. Best option if you want advice is to hire a very good immigration lawyer - however this won't be definitive. Ultimately it's up to IRCC/CIC.

You will have to make the call about whether you should go forward without a firm yes/no.

I understand. I just assumed there would be a definitive answer to something like this. I spoke to someone at the agency and they've said, although I don't believe them tbh, that there have been people who've been accepted in the same situation and that it's not all black and white.

It's a risk I'll have to take I guess.
