I was a worker by work permit. I have a green card in US and want to come back to work in canada.

Hello everyone,
I have a problem about the working permit.
I graduated post secondary in Canada, and work for 7,8 month as a work permit holder in 2017. I have to leave to go to USA and i have a green card. Now i have a plan to go back to Canada but my work permit expired and now i want to apply a new one?
What should I do?
Should i visit Canada as a vistor and apply for work permit. Or should I apply work permit outside Canada?

Before I graduated and had a job right away with a company. Now if i came back, i still work for that company again. I just talk to the boss but not sure about that company have LMIA.

Why did you have to leave? Company would still have to obtain an LMIA.

They need to get an approved LMIA. Without an approved LMIA, you cannot apply for a work permit.
