I passed the interview

Yesterday, I had an interview at Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and it just took 20 minutes and the interviewer told me I passed the interview and wait for the medical after 4-8 weeks. I was so happy. At last after 2 long years of waiting, now I would say I'm going nearer of my dream to land in Canada. To all out there waiting, just a little more patience. Your time will come.

I submitted my application on Feb. 2004. I think the interview was just just for formality as there's no much questions asked. The interviewer was so polite and kind that after a few questions I was already at ease and the nervousness was gone. He mostly asked my previous and present work experience, my positions and responsibilities. And also my wife's. But she didn't even asked why my wife was not with me. He also looked some of my original documents especially the bank certificates. Mostly the questions are coming from the submitted application maybe just to know that I all know what I've written in my applications. And that's it, he told me I had sufficient points and I passed the interview. He told me to wait for the medical info in 4-8 weeks.

* when did you 1st come to know that you had been selected for an Interview and how did they let you know about the time and schedule about the Interview?

people are crazy on this forum now a days. look the date, I guess may be this person already in Canada might be waiting for his/her Citizenship too (if he landed successfully and he is in canada).
