I did a 2 year program which qualifies me to obtain a 3 year work permit, however I received a 1 year work permit. All of my friends I studied the same program with, got a 3 year work permit except myself. My passport validity is untill 2026. I submitted every doc's they needed and besides I didn't do any unauthorized work or anything.
Reach out the IRCC by the phone. Call them and explain your situation to officer. I know it is long wait on the phone but eventually someone will pick up your phone. And also fill up the IRCC web form about your PGWP attach documents- both courses transcript, graduation letters and plus the ircc letter your received now. Calling is the best advice! Call them and talk to them politely. The same thing happened to me. Don’t re apply until you hear from them.
I called them today and he said " I can see you have done 4 semesters, they might have missed something and i can see you have already submitted a webform so just wait to hear from them, the decision is totally in their hands." What should i expect now? was you case similar @Samirpanara86

You said your PGWP application was refused right? As soon as it is refused, you do not have eligibility for implied status. It is for people awaiting their initial decision
Applying for reconsideration and a 2nd application does not trigger implied status. You will need the actual PGWP to continue working
No never refused, i received it for one year which end in 2024 but i requested for reconsideration because it is less than my study period. i did a 2 years program and i should get a 3 years PGWP so i am in the process of reconsideration.

You can man! Just your work permit expired date will be changed and you are currently working on valid one year work permit. It is not your mistake. You continue working. Don’t worry. It is not a implied status. You already issued your one year work permit now just have to increase the length of it. That’s all. I have felt that tension and worry on my head! Nobody will tell you this. I don’t want anybody feel like that that’s why I told you. Don’t worry
