Hi guys ,

Just spoke to IRCC agent,

Firstly, they had wrong address on my file, strange i submitted my application with my current address however they had my old address (where i stayed last year). So the agent updated it then confirmed that they received my application and also provided me a Temporary application number. Told me to wait for AOR, said it will take some time.

@Sharath kumar thanks a lot man for providing me keys to reach agent directly it saved me some time.

If the portal says your application is submitted, then it's submitted and currently in the hands of visa officers. AR email are just generic stuff, some have it, but others won't. I didn't receive any when I submitted mine. AOR is the more important one.

I applied for non-express entry PR using pnp on 22-12-2023. My pnp nomination will expire on February 24, 2024. I've heard that if the IRCC opens our PR application after the expiry date, it would be rejected. Is it true?

Nope, not true. As long as your nomination was still valid when you hit the submit button.
