How long does it take to receive the PR?

Around Forty days. Call CIC for more precise info at 1-888-242‑2100. Wish you get your card soon.

Also, what I waited for 6 weeks but didn't got the PR. Then I go out Canada. How to apply? is it acceptable to say: never received, or lost?

If U want to re enter Canada without the PR card, you might have to apply a travel document at the embassy/consulate

Thanks. My question is:

I arranged a short term stay in Cananda. But I'm planning to wait for 54 days then I'll go out of Canada.
I'm worried that I may not got the PR or the collector may lost the PR or may never receive the PR.
So can I apply for PRTD from the Canadian embassy there? and if yes, shall I say the PR never rec'd or just lost?.
